This assignment was aimed at improving our French vocabulary and oral abilities. We worked in groups of three utilizing vocabulary we learned to write a script depicting a scene in a restaurant. While writing the script, we tried to make our French as 'correct' as possible, making sure that we had proper spelling, accents, and sentences constructions. We also had to make sure we divided our lines up equally and made good use of our vocabulary knowledge.
Upon completing the script, we had to make sure we could say it properly, improving our French pronunciation and diction. This was done through repeated practices, both individually and with our groups.
In this assignment, I felt that there were minimal difficulties. However, speaking in French does not come easily to me and so I needed to practice a substantial amount to get my pronunciation right. All in all, it was a successful assignment and I learnt a lot from it.
